Being a wavy head calls for moisture rich products. I choose the Shea Butter range out of the lot as it seemed perfect for my hair.
🌰 Shea Butter Hair Mask: Says for dry and damaged hair. I particularly liked this one more between the two.
How to use: On freshly shampooed hair, apply a dollop of mask to hair lengths and secure it in a bun and cover it with a heating cap/shower cap. Wash it off in 20-25 mins.

Absolutely love it’s slip! It’s super easy to spread and makes my hair super soft. It do not hold my waves nor it is supposed to. I apply it once in a fortnight for spa experience. Fragrance is on the strong side and will linger on even after wash.
🌰 Shea Butter Conditioner: For my coarse wavy hair it didn’t do much solely. It’s slip is superb and you need very less product at a time. Pairing it with my CG products gives the best results! If you have fine hair I’m sure you are gonna love it!
Maui Moisture products have aloe vera as the solvent (first ingredient) instead of aqua (water) therefore their products seems more hydrating to me. These are huge 340g and 385ml bottles respectively which IMO will last you quite a while.

Who is it for?
• Someone new to chemical exfoliation. • Mild pigmentation (acne marks, sunspots etc). • Mild and small pimples aka roughness of skin.
I am someone who prefers salicylic acid over lactic acid because that’s what my skin reacts best to, but this one really surprised me. Helped a lot with patchy whiteheads on my forehead. One more interesting way to use this is- on underarms, will help a lot with exfoliation, preventing ingrown hair, pigmentation and keeping them odour free.
It’s advisable to use it twice a week on dry clean skin and follow up with your regular moisturiser. Wear your sunscreen as AHA (lactic acid) or any active indeed tends to make your skin photosensitive.
If you are looking for an ideal serum to start your chemical exfoliation journey then this is it!
